-is it safe to find ones own tour guide? and if it isn't i would also like to go on an excursion, ma be a safari excursion but there are 2 which one is better the out back safari or the monster truck safari tour ?Going to punta cana is it safe to....get a private guide for a tour of the city?
!. There is no city in Punta Cana, only a hotel strip...
Both safaris are good, the difference is mostly the trucks. For my personal point of view I prefer the Monster Trucks.....Going to punta cana is it safe to....get a private guide for a tour of the city?
It is both safe to hire a guide or to do it yourself. Dominican Republic is very safe but there is NO city to look at. The area was developed by and for all inclusives. It is the most boring place in the entire country.
My friend Will who started Outback is now again the owner of the company. There is no one who knows this country better than him. I think the two of us have covered just about every square mile of this country on Dirt bikes together and nobody knows the country better than him. He will give you the best and most exciting tour you can ever imagine.
This is the most beautiful country and it is so diverse. It isn't a little island you can just spit across. You will LOVE the Outback Safari Tour.
I was on an excursion in punta cana and our bus was attacked and we were all robbed at gun point Best advice if you're going to the dominican stay put on your resort -One group was attacked on the hotel shuttle bringing them from the airport to the resorts its a dangerous place !
I wouldn't suggest it. And there's really nothing much to see there.
